Positions

Transportation- Van Driver

*This is an outdoor position

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  • Transport passengers and equipment during event
  • Will require driving in variable weather and road conditions
  • 7 passenger and 15 passenger vans provided by Disabled Sports USA
  • Must provide copy of clean driver’s license
  • Must be 25 years or older

Administration

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  • Check in participants and answer general event questions
  • Direct participants to clinics and lessons, assist with special guest population
  • Keep check-in area clean and tidy, organize packing and shipping
  • Other responsibilities as requested by the Event Managers

Shifts

  • Monday: 12:00pm-6:00pm
  • Tuesday-Saturday: 7:30am-10:00am & 12:00pm-2:00pm

Curling/Ice Skating/Sled Hockey

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  •  This is an on-ice position. Assist with righting players on ice, getting in and out of equipment, retrieval of stones
  • Arrive a couple minutes early to receive brief training

Shifts

  • Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Race Volunteer

*This is an on-snow position
**Helmets must be worn by ALL participants and instructors on the slopes

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  • Assist with race administration (run results, hand out race packets/numbers, etc.)
  • Required: must be able to ski/snowboard independently on Blue/Black Terrain

Ski and Snowboard Instructor Volunteer

*This is an on-snow position
**Helmets must be worn by ALL participants and instructors on the slopes

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  • Assist with teaching lessons for youth and adults with physical disabilities (on snow position)
  • PSIA-AASI Level I ADAPTIVE CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Lift ticket provided for assigned lessons. Helmets must be worn while on snow
  • Must commit to at least 2 consecutive days of lessons or 3 days throughout the event duration

    • Qualified instructors will receive complimentary registration and free lunch Tuesday-Saturday. Instructors are responsible for travel logistics, accommodations, and meals.

  • Assist with preparation and serving of lunch (by equipment truck / outside)

Social Events

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  • Assist with the set up/breakdown of evening social events
  • Casino Night dealers: Blackjack and Texas Hold ’em

Special Guest Assistant

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  • Taking guests to equipment rental shop and helping them find their rooms

  • Monday: 12:00pm-6:00pm

Continuing Education Assistant

Responsibilities/Prerequisites

  • Print schedules
  • Keep continuing education area clean and tidy
  • Assist participants in locating their clinics/instructors
  • Other responsibilities as requested by the Continuing Education Manager

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00-11:30am & 12:00-2:00pm
  • Tuesday 7:00am-9:30am
